‘NOWHERE, Imagining the Global City’

I’m delighted to share with you the upcoming solo exhibition NOWHERE, Imagining the Global City at the Three Shadows Photographic Art Centre in Beijing, China.
We’ve worked hard to create something special and we’re truely honored that this exhibition will be opened by the Dutch Embassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China, His Excellency Mr. André Haspels.
Not only a total of 26 physical pieces will be presented at the Ai Wei Wei designed gallery, but among those will be a diversity of large size HR photographic prints, lightboxes, large wallpaper pieces and works ‘in-situ’, an addition to my photographic practice. Furthermore, new photoworks created in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Xiamen, China will be exhibited as well. The 18 x 3 meter videowall ‘Multiplicity’, 2021 will be installed in full, exploring and bringing to the surface the underlaying motives of my artistic oeuvre with the use of AI and computer learning.
Data visualisation is done by RNDR, studio for interactive media design (NL) and the soundtrack by composer Henry Vega (USA).
