To borrow Heidegger's words, we have been obscured by the present reality—"The world is just running, and we have no new perspective on it, no new light. With the fusion of the "image age" and the "network age," the "Anthropocene" has entered a completely new era, as Han Byung-chul stated: "Today we are on the path of transition from the age of things to the age of non-things; it is information, not things, that defines our environment. We no longer occupy land or sky, but turn to Google Maps and the 'cloud.' The world becomes increasingly imperceptible, ethereal, and haunted." Nothing is truly solid. Thus, the logic of matter gradually shifted to the logic of numbers, and the philosophy of the earth gradually shifted to the philosophy of the screen. At this point, people often ignore their true needs, and what comes instead is the vanity of imagery controlled by capital, which can be considered a kind of "pseudo-need."
