An exciting new video work
in the making…

After returning to this same precise location in the outskirts of Chongqing (China) for several nights in a row a few months ago, I’m happy to announce that I now find myself in the middle of finalising this new video work, working title: VeloCity, 2026.

Patience has been essential to this piece, both in the need for all details to come together (lighting, setting, movement, progress, timing, etc.), all with the final narrative in mind, as well as building the right team to make it happen when back in the studio.

Working with Neda Gueorguieva of Photokinetic (Amsterdam) means my specific needs and critical views on globalisation and the impact of time and space on our modern ‘Society of the Spectacle’ are doing the tricks.
