Interpolis

In 2006 Mr. Hans Meijs of the artdepartment of Interpolis Insurance Company in Tilburg (NL) approached me for a very specific project. Interpolis (well known for it's large art- & designcollection) wanted me to work with them and graphic designer Oranje Boven, Den Bosch (NL) in creating an exclusive, A3+ size, full color Leporello. The folding book exists of 16 photoworks taken in, around and outside of the Interpolis headquarters. It has a full color sleeve and a single paper inlay with company information. Basicly this commission said: images only, no texts.

Access was guaranteed 24/7, and I was asked to 'create the best possible images of this company, this building, and do it exactly as I'd please'. So, no conditions applied. Over a period of a week I worked in Tilburg on this project, visiting the cellars, the working area, cantine, managementfloors, restaurant, flexible workspaces, entrance, and the roof and gardens surrounding the building.

After careful selection of images the leporello was designed and printed by Rosbeek in Nuth (NL), beautiful as always. This leporello has been selected as one of the best Dutch photobooks since the second world war.
